Robert Hotchkin has, indeed, exposed the often undetected spirit of Leviathan in his book, Leviathan Exposed. This exposure has already had a profound impact on the Kingdom of God. In this hour, chaos and confusion have overtaken many relationships that were once havens of love and acceptance. This book is essential reading for any frontline Kingdom worker. It can shed light in darkness and can prevent the destruction of well-situated, godly relationships that are oblivious to Leviathan’s existence and agenda.
Mr. Hotchkin works with Patricia King’s ministry, XP Ministries and when I read about this book on her website, I ordered it. I was curious about this spirit since I knew very little about it. This book is subtitled Overcoming the Hidden Schemes of a Demonic King. The fact that it is hidden increased my curiosity. Since reading this book, I marvel that this spirit, which the entire chapter of Job 41 is written about , has remained incognito in so many venues for thousands of years. Perhaps we have seen it as irrelevant or so ancient that it expired and is not longer active. This could not be further from the truth. Leviathan is alive and active, and is seeking opportunities to destroy anyone who seeks to serve the Lord with devotion.

“Leviathan is an evil, twisted, demonic serpent that is sent to steal, kill and destroy. Left on its own, it will destroy relationships, strip people of confidence, wound hearts, and kill ministries and reputations.”
“Have you ever found yourself in a situation where no matter what you said, it seemed to be misinterpreted?”
Leviathan twists and divides. It targets unity. Mark 3:25 says, “If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” There is strength is unity, so this spirit aims to divide marriages, churches and relationships that are seeking to forward God’s Kingdom. Mr. Hotchkin explains that “Psalm 133 promises that when believers are in unity, the anointing flows and God commands His blessing in our midst.”
Decrees, prayers, praise and worship, forgiveness, wisdom, advisors, and reconciliation and restoration each receive a chapter-length discussion. The book concludes with the reminder that the battle is the Lord’s.
You will have understanding should this spirit begin to infiltrate any of the ranks in your spheres of influence. Your prayers are powerful and effective when prayed in humility and righteousness (see James 5:16). I thank God for the revelation that this book has provided for His people for this day and time. Be thus armed, Kingdom builder. God bless you, valiant warrior. He with you.
